Lennox Boiler Reviews | Consumer Ratings
Lennox offers several different types of boilers, including their most efficient boiler, which is a modulating condensing boiler that offers efficiency ratings up to 95% AFUE. Modulating means the boiler runs at a firing rate according to demand, and the condensing boiler leeches out as much heat as possible. A condensing boiler utilizes so much heat it produces the can use an approved low-temperature venting. Venting such as PVC or CPVC where a conventional boiler vents much more heat that requires high-temperature venting materials to vent the combustion byproducts.

It has been tested extensively and is a proven method of reducing energy consumption therefore saving on energy costs. This company does not stand by their warranty.
We had our Lennox boiler installed less than 2 years ago.
The glass water vial is cracked. It was discovered it was cracked during fall maintenance/service.
The maintenance company said that they could not get the part for 2 months. TWO MONTHS! That’s the end of October. Parts of our state are already having 40 degree weather at night.
We have an 83 year old in the house who already feels cold in the mornings this week.
Anyway, I called Lennox to see if I could speed up getting the part and after waiting ON HOLD FOR LITERALLY ONE HOUR I was told that I should talk to the maintenance company.
PLEASE DO NOT BUY A LENNOX
Our Rheem lasted us 50 years before it was replaced buy Lennox’s P.O.S. that has broken after 2 years.
And by the way, every Lennox dealer has a different story on how to maintain the machine during the season. One dealer said remove about 16 oz of water every 2 weeks. Another said only do it at the beginning of the season. Another said it should be half a bucket every 2 weeks.
When I asked customer service about this they said that the dealers have the documentation. I said well clearly some of them are not reading it. Can I have the documentation, as someone who spent a TON of money on you boiler? And then they told me it was ONLY FOR THE DEALERS. So I still have no idea how to maintain the boiler.
I think it is deliberate This company does not stand by their warranty.

Lennox makes the worst product possible and offers the worst service there is. I have learned this from sad experience and encourage anyone thinking of buying a Lennox to check out any other product.

Perhaps you had a bad experience with a particular Lennox dealer. While I do have my opinion about Lennox (both good and bad) if you do not have a good dealer for service then the product can be lacking. It boils down to the service and installation of the product.
