New Hurst Commercial Boilers

The new Hurst boilers are in the process of being installed. Thus all the dust on the boilers because the painters were late getting to the job and they left their over spray all over the boilers. They cleaned up the new boilers after they were finished. The new Hurst boilers represent approximately 24 million BTU's to this boiler hot water plant. This boiler room has three 8 million BTU boilers Each boiler is connected to a hot water economizer which uses the boiler stack gases to pre-heat city water thus adding efficiency to the overall boiler system. The boiler room was completely rebuilt including the control system. The customers of this boiler room were completely satisfied and happy with the results of the new installation especially the fact that the economizer systems saved them budget money that they could use elsewhere to improve mechanical equipment including other boiler rooms. In addition to the boilers having boiler staging through the control system (Lead/Lag System) they also were equipped with modulating control for low fire in low demand periods and high fire in high demand periods.
