Old Amana Air Conditioner Condenser Being Rigged for a Crane lift to the Boneyard

This old Amana air conditioning condensing unit is rigged and waiting for the boom of the crane so that it can take its final trip to the junkyard. The unit was 14 years old and was diagnosed with a bad compressor. It didn't make sense spending all the money for a new compressor for such an old system when for a few dollars more the entire condenser could be replaced. 14 years is about the average life expectancy of the most HVAC systems aside from boilers.
