While I agree that quality install and service are of paramount importance, quality control and quality assurance from the factory are also very important.

_base_d on my experiences with start-ups and commissioning of many different mfgr's, I've had less problems with Carrier and Bryant lines of equipment than any of the others I've installed and serviced.
The cabinetry and accesories provided with say, a Goodman _base_ model system are inferior to say, a Carrier or Trane _base_ model system.
I'd go with a system that provides factory TXV's as a standard component along with a premium variable speed fan coil, if possible to increase operating performance and efficiency.
