I have a Ruud heatpump, airhandler UBHK* When it is cold outside and the unit comes on, there is a loud squeal from the airhandler, similar to blowing across a bottle. It is definately a refrigerant sound. It has been checked for proper refrigerant charge and is OK. It only does it on the heat cycle. The unit has no belts to make noise. Anyone had this problem (and solved it)?
