VGCC Air Conditioning, Heating, and Refrigeration Technology curriculum provides the basic HVAC knowledge to develop skills necessary to work with residential and light commercial HVAC systems.

HVAC Curriculum mechanical refrigeration, heating and cooling theory, electricity, controls, and safety. The HVAC diploma program covers air conditioning, furnaces, heat pumps, tools and instruments.

HVAC diploma graduates should be able to assist in HVAC start-up, HVAC preventive maintenance, HVAC service, HVAC equipment repair and/or installation of residential and light commercial HVAC systems.

VGCC also offers distance learning programs delivered over the internet.
