Lennox Heat Pump Reviews

Lennox produces heat pumps with efficiency ranges from 13 SEER 7.7 HSPF to 18.6 SEER 9.3 SEER for the lower efficiency range which is currently the DOE minimum. Lennox is known as a premium HVAC equipment manufacturer and Lennox produces air conditioners, heat pumps, gas furnaces, boilers, generators and other HVAC comfort products. Lennox has recently introduced a solar assisted heat pump that uses photovoltaic solar technology to reduce energy use for heat pump use. Lennox clearly is a leader in HVAC equipment innovation and technology. Features of selected Lennox heat pumps are:

Two-Stage scroll compressor offers two running speeds to consume lower amounts of energy with lower demand.

Selected Lennox heat pump units use R-410A

Dual-fuel capability for use with gas furnaces for back-up heat

Diagnostic control board for easier heat pump troubleshooting

High-pressure safety switch to prevent operation of heat pump when pressures exceed safe-level maximums

Lennox started in 1895 with a riveted steel furnace and eventually began producing other home comfort products. Lennox boasts more than 60 home comfort products in the Lennox product line-up. Lennox also produces light commercial products for businesses.

cheaper to heat house with electric space heaters than your heat pump.
technicians have been here 4 times trying to fix with no luck. they are scheculed for a 5th time. I'll never buy lennox again nor recommend them.

XP-19 heats much higher than expected! Very quiet operation and very efficient!

Higher effiecient heat pumps have less tolerance. So they have to be installed correctly and the duct work has to be right as well. A good contractor will know this!
