So far we are very pleased with the system we had installed. Scaled back on the BTUs from the previous unit and have still been a lot more comfortable. Went with a two stage heat pump and expect that to improve humidityu this summer. I wish the humidifier could have been installed on the supply side instead of the return. It would have been better. As it is the system is calling for humidity constantly. Not a big deal but something I will probably have looked at in the future.

heat pump reviews
written by ronald allen, April 24, 2010
I had a new Bryant heat pump installed in my new home the first quarter of 2003. Yesterday, 4/23/2010, I was told I would need a new unit because of un repairable leeks. This is a 5 Ton unit, 7 years old and out of warranty. This is well below the average life of any heat pump.
thanks bryant systems but NO THANKS.
