Ducane Gas Furnaces Reviews


Ducane offers various different gas furnaces to fit many needs and efficiency levels. Ducanes gas furnace efficiency levels range from the HVAC industry standard 80% AFUE for lower efficient models to 92% AFUE for the higher Ducane gas furnace models. Various models of Ducane gas furnaces offer two-stage firing rate, variable speed motors, and hot surface ignition. Warranties for Ducane gas furnace heat exchangers are lifetime limited warranty and a 10 year limited warranty on parts.



Ducane was found in 1947 in Union City, New Jersey and was eventually purchased by Lennox. Ducane produces HVAC products for residential and light commercial applications including gas furnaces, oil furnaces, unit heaters, heat pumps, and air conditioners.

Ducane is owned by Lennox and it seems as though Ducane is the builders grade for Lennox so you won't get a lot of bells and whistles with Ducane. I've had several customers with Ducane Equipment and there are no reported major flaws with the equipment. I've also installed a few Ducane's and they are no nonsense and keep things simple.
