York Air Handler Reviews

York manufactures air handlers with the model names of Affinity and Lattitude and can be configured for horizontal flow, upflow, and downflow applications for residential and light commercial HVAC use. York also manufactures large commercial air handlers and these will be covered in a future planned section for commercial HVAC equipment. Various features of selected York  air handlers include:

• York air handlers are designed for quiet operation


• Compact York air handlers available for tight fitting installations


• York air handlers are insulated for quiet operation


• York air handlers available in models that use R410A or R22

One word of note about York air conditioners and other products - York does not list much technical information about features for their heat pumps. I have always known York to offer quality products however what I am reading in their sales brochures and sales literature seems to be a lot of hype with no specifics. In other words, York promises a lot but they do not tell you how they will do it like other manufacturers do in their sales literature. Ask a lot of questions and encourage York to provide you with specific information so that you can make an informed decision about buying from them.
