Air Handler Reviews

Some may ask what an air handler is and what does it do? Air handlers are used on a split system forced air systems where conditioned air is blown through duct work. There are many different combinations of air handlers but the most common are used in split system air conditioners and heat pumps. Air handlers, in addition to having a blower that moves air throughout the ductwork, may also have a coil which can be either DX or water coil used to condition the air blown through the coil.

Air Handlers can be paired with a heat pump condenser or an air conditioner condenser and provide heating in the winter (when configured properly) and cooling in summer.
