This is a good thermostat and very useful even if if you do not need a programmable thermostat for your HVAC system. Many people know very little about thermostats and even their HVAC systems. It helps when choosing a thermostat, especially a programmable thermostat that it is simple to operate. The Honeywell Touchscreen thermostat is easy to navigate through the menu when programming it. Using the Honeywell touchscreen it only takes about 10 minutes to set it up on initial installation and then another 10 minutes or so program the thermostat. Even people who are technically challenged will find this thermostat easy to navigate in the set up and programming menus. Honeywell lists the features and benefits for the touchscreen programmable thermostat as:
