I formerly resided in Hampton Roads Virginia and was am employed as a Direct Digital Controls Project Supervisor and start-up technician in the HVAC Controls field. I have extensive training and experience in the heating and air conditioning trade. I am a Licensed HVAC Master, Journeyman Electrician, & Journeyman Gasfitter. I started this web site to help educate the public about their Heating and Air Conditioning equipment. Naturally I enjoy writing and teaching. I also enjoy learning new things like writing HTML, Flash, and JavaScript's (even though it can be frustrating at times). I combined all this along with my profession and started this site to fill a void......to educate the public about their AC and Heating equipment. I take basic knowledge of HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) and expand on it so that (hopefully) the general public will understand it. The more you know about your system the better you'll be able to care for your system(s). Sometimes, when I am in front of a customer and explaining how it works (usually only because the customer is curious and asks questions), I am surprised by how little they know about their systems. I am also surprised by how most people are genuinely interested about learning how their system works.

I am continuously working to polish the site although I think this is something that is perpetual so I'll never really be finished with it. If you can't find the information here then you are welcome to email me. I'll do my best to answer your question thoroughly and concisely. If I can't, I have many resources on the web where I can direct you so that you may find the answer to your question about HVAC.

Currently I reside in the Hampton Roads area of Virginia.
